Do you know the power of thanksgiving? What is the cost of complaining? Jesus did not just forgive your sins, He redeemed your past (Col. 1:13-14). Living in regret chains you to your past. Often times, we withhold forgiveness from ourselves even more than we might withhold it from others. Today, God is calling you to release yourself from the pressures you may have placed upon yourself- be free and be forgiven! You are redeemed by His blood.

James 1:22 tells us to be doers of the word, not just hearers. Why? Because actions reveal priorities. Do the actions you take day-to-day reflect your top priorities? If not, take time today to refocus on the vision for your life and your top priorities. In Matthew 25, Jesus tells the parable of the talents. He commends the servants who took what their master had given them and multiplied it. He says they will be given even more! In the same chapter Jesus rebukes the servant who hid his talents in order to preserve them. Jesus has fully invested in you. Make it your utmost goal to see that through your life, Jesus gets a return on his investment. You have a great call and a powerful destiny, and you have been given the Spirit of God and all of the resources of heaven to steward them well!

Habakkuk 2:2 tells us to write the vision down that we may run! We are all in a race - but not all of us know where we are going. However, when we set our eyes towards the future with a vision and a plan, we will run to win! (1 Cor. 9:24) This week we took time to begin to write the vision down for our lives so that we may run the race marked out for us and win! Today we as a church had the honor of blessing 23 children who were dedicated unto the Lord. We celebrated the incredible destiny that God has for each of them and joined in prayer with our elders to bless these children and their great call! May they know God and walk with Him all the days of their lives, and may their parents be filled with wisdom and grace to raise them in “the way they should go” [Prov. 22:6] Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

One way to steward holiness is through transparency. Transparency can feel scary, but it’s always worth it because knowing Him is worth it. [Mat 7:22-23] “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”

Don’t take the bait. Offense looks and feels like a good choice, but it will only hurt you in the end. 1 Cor. 13:5 - love is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not irritable or easily offended.

Our prayer for you today: “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:17-18‬ ‭

We would never ignore pain in our body because we know it is an indication of a problem below the surface. Likewise, we cannot ignore emotional pain because it reveals a wound in our soul. Jesus carried your emotional pain with Him on the cross. He felt it, and He put it to death. Our prayer for you today from 1 Thes. 5:23-24: “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” AMEN!

Mental health: Jesus paid the price for you to be healed in your mind. His PEACE is here for you today. Ask for it and receive it!

“For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.” Romans 6:5 Happy Resurrection Sunday! 🙌🏼

He chose to remain in suffering until He knew the veil between God’s glorious presence and His beloved people was torn in two. He did it all so we could come close to God the Father and dwell in His presence here on earth. #GoodFriday
