Have you noticed that this powerful promise from God found in 2 Chronicles 7:14 is conditional? This promise is conditioned by our willingness to do our part, and in response God will do His part.
Do you know your part?
Will you choose humility today? Will you set aside time to pray and seek His face? Will you turn from sin and run to Him?

“If your comfort in captivity is greater than your fight for victory, you’ll continue to live in defeat”
This week we took a look at the lives of Jonathan and Saul in 1 Samuel 14. Here we find Israel captive to the Philistines. Many of Israelites fled and hid in caves, while others surrendered and joined forces with the Philistines.
Here we find Saul and his men resting under a tree - comfortable in captivity and content to live subservient to the Philistines.
Saul’s son Jonathan, however, is not content in captivity. He moves from the sidelines to the frontlines to face the Philistines head on. His bold step of faith becomes the catalyst for victory not only for himself, but all of the men of Israel!
Check out these 4 Keys for moving from the sidelines to the frontlines so you can boldly break free of captivity like Jonathan did!
Thank you, mothers, for how you love and nurture life. Thank you for putting on display and into action the love, nurture, comfort and care of God.
The ministry of motherhood is one of the highest callings on earth. Mothering births a legacy. Mothering stewards a destiny.
Today especially, we honor the mothers who have raised children of their own, and mothers who have devoted themselves to love, nurture and care for lives they did not bear.
“Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”
Proverbs 31:31
YOU GET TO DECIDE
There is power in your words. The power to bring life or to kill life.
What you decree and declare will come to pass. Change WILL happen.
Examine your words today. Decide whose will your words will proclaim.
”Then you will have delight in the Almighty, And you will lift up your face to God. “You will pray to Him, and He will hear you, And you will pay your vows. “You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways.“

Do you know the story of your DNA?
”For you have been born again [that is, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] not of seed which is perishable but [from that which is] imperishable and immortal, that is, through the living and everlasting word of God.“

What a glorious moment.
When all hope was lost and death thought it had swallowed Him up.
He rose in triumph.
Standing before those wrought with grief, He was now alive and well; the keys of the Kingdom in His hand, ready to arm the people of God with the fullness of who He is.
The Resurrection and the Life soon living inside of every believer.

Do you really know what the finished work of Christ has done for you?
Knowing this truth will set you free. It will silence shame and condemnation. It will free your mind. It will lead you to Peace.
Speak these words, found in Galatians 2:20, over yourself today:
”I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.“

Take one minute of your time and listen to this incredible account of the TRIUMPH you have in the victory of Jesus found in Colossians 2:14. You will be glad you did!
We pray that you would be filled with fresh revelation of the victory that is now yours because of the blood of Jesus that was shed for you.
The full message can be found on our Facebook page, titled “The Blood of Jesus | Part 3.”
“I rest my case”
Your redemption is complete. Jesus declared with his final breath, “It is finished.”
You can rest your case in the blood of Jesus.
“For God is satisfied to have all his fullness dwelling in Christ. And by the blood of his cross, everything in heaven and earth is brought back to himself—back to its original intent, restored to innocence again!“
Colossians 1:19-20 TPT
IS YOUR LIGHT HIDDEN?
Matthew 5 declares that you are the light of the world - a light that is not to be hidden!
Jesus continues in Matthew 5, urging you to let your light shine before others, so they will see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven!
Take an honest look at your life today…are you lighting up the world around you? Is your light on? Is your light hidden inside your “fence?”
It’s time to shine.
What does it mean to live a life “well spent?” How do we know if we are faithfully honoring and serving the Lord?
One answer to these questions is found in Matthew 7:24-27. Here we find a picture of a house being built on a rock; secure no matter what may come against it.
So what is this picture representing, exactly?
Verse 24 answers this question for us: “He who HEARS these sayings of mine and DOES them is like a wise man who built his house on a rock”
He who HEARS these sayings of mine and DOES them….
HEARING and DOING is the foundation of a life well spent.
What have you done with what God has spoken to you? Are you waiting for God to do something he has told you to do?

Do you know the power of thanksgiving? What is the cost of complaining?
To help answer these questions, swipe through 5 checkpoints for thanksgiving and complaining - both of which produce fruit in our lives.
Thankfulness produces trust and faith in the goodness of God, and is evidence of my trust in Him.
Complaining is evidence that I have laid down my trust in God and lost sight of His promises. Complaining is proof of my unbelief.
1 Thes. 5:16-18 is our roadmap for how to grow in all seasons and circumstances we face:
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for in Christ Jesus.”
Often the best way to pray through a difficult circumstance is to shift our focus off of ourselves and our circumstance an on to the Word of Truth.
Take time today to thank God for what He has done for you. Speak the Word of God over your circumstances. Thank Him for His promises over you. Thank Him for working all things out for your good! Remind Him of all the times He has come through on your behalf and thank Him for doing it again!
What you behold, you become.
“Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.”
Colossians 3:1-4 NLT
What and who are you beholding today?
Take time today to behold Him and to “set your sights on the realities of heaven.” It will transform your life!

Do you know WHO you are?
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.“ [1 Peter 2:9]
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.“ [2 Corinthians 5:17]
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, so that you might go and bear fruit – fruit, that will last – and so that whatever you ask in my name, the Father will give you.” [John 15:16]

Romans 8:28-30 tells us we are called and predestined to leave a legacy here on earth.
Because of the death and resurrection of Christ, you ARE enough and you HAVE enough to live out your destiny here and now!
It's time for YOU who are called by God to ARISE & SHINE.
Check out the sermon of the week, "Arise and Shine," available for playback on our Facebook page for more wisdom and insight on walking in your calling today.
You can’t do something to make God happy with you.
It’s too late….
He already is!
God looks at you through the redemptive work of His son. (2 Cor. 5:17)
He chose you first. He loves you. (Eph. 1:4-5)
Knowing His perfect love will drive out fear from your life. Receive His love for you today. (1 John 4:18)
Jesus did not just forgive your sins, He redeemed your past (Col. 1:13-14).
Living in regret chains you to your past. It blinds you to who you truly are in Christ, and it shields you from receiving the redeeming love of God.
Paul, who was no stranger to a painful past, tells us to forget what was behind and press on toward the goal that is in Christ Jesus. (Phil 3:14)
Your pain will move you into purpose. It holds within it the opportunity for purification.
Do not fear your past or your pain.
God wastes nothing.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who have loved, served, nurtured, taught, and raised up the sons and daughters of God.
You are building legacy and building the kingdom!
“Bold power and glorious majesty are wrapped around her as she laughs with joy over the latter days. Her teachings are filled with wisdom and kindness as loving instruction pours from her lips. Her sons and daughters arise in one accord to extol her virtues, and her husband arises to speak of her in glowing terms. “There are many valiant and noble ones, but you have ascended above them all!””
Proverbs 31:25-26, 28-29 TPT
He is risen.
How thankful we are for the third day.
“After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up that we may live before Him. So let us know and become personally acquainted with Him; let us press on to know and understand fully the [greatness of the] Lord [to honor, heed, and deeply cherish Him].””
Hosea 6:2-3a AMP
“I will restore the fortunes of Judah and the fortunes of Israel and will rebuild them as they were at first. Jerusalem will be to Me a name of joy, praise and glory before all the nations of the earth which will hear of all the good that I do for it, and they shall fear and tremble because of all the good and all the peace (prosperity, security, stability) that I provide for it.’”
Jeremiah 33:7, 9 AMP
“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and on the earth; Yours is the dominion and kingdom, O Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all. In Your hand is power and might; and it is in Your hands to make great and to give strength to everyone.”
1 Chronicles 29:11-12
“The one thing that all revivals have in common: they’re all different.”
As revival spreads throughout our nation, it is important to posture our hearts to prepare for what God is doing in this season. Here are 3 Keys to help you posture your heart for revival.

“The end goal of revival is always reformation. Revival is sustained when it becomes implemented in us and then transmitted through us into the culture” -Robert Nick
We kicked off our LEC MIDWEEK night last week and it was INCREDIBLE!

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." -Isaiah 9:6
We pray today, and throughout the coming year that you would experience the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace. May you be aware of His presence and His kingdom that is at hand.
James 1:22 tells us to be doers of the word, not just hearers. Why? Because actions reveal priorities.
Do the actions you take day-to-day reflect your top priorities? If not, take time today to refocus on the vision for your life and your top priorities.
What actions can you take throughout your day/week to move toward both?

In Matthew 25, Jesus tells the parable of the talents. He commends the servants who took what their master had given them and multiplied it. He says they will be given even more! In the same chapter Jesus rebukes the servant who hid his talents in order to preserve them.
Jesus has fully invested in you. Make it your utmost goal to see that through your life, Jesus gets a return on his investment. You have a great call and a powerful destiny, and you have been given the Spirit of God and all of the resources of heaven to steward them well!
Habakkuk 2:2 tells us to write the vision down that we may run!
We are all in a race - but not all of us know where we are going. However, when we set our eyes towards the future with a vision and a plan, we will run to win! (1 Cor. 9:24)
This week we took time to begin to write the vision down for our lives so that we may run the race marked out for us and win! Be sure to join us this Sunday at 10:30 as we continue to cast vision for our lives.
Check out this recap of part 3 of our current series, “In The Spirit.” This week Pastor Bryan focused on how loving others well starts with loving ourselves well, and loving ourselves well begins with experiencing God’s love for us.

This week our focus has been ministering to the Lord through praise and worship. Psalm 100:4 says that we enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise — two powerful keys to hosting the Presence of God in our daily lives.
Have you taken time to minister to the Lord this week? If not, these scriptures are a great place to start!

Please join with us in honoring our founding pastor, John Kowalczyk, on his birthday! John’s passion and pursuit of the presence of God remains foundational in who we are as a church. His heart to see the captives set free evolved into a thriving inner-healing ministry that impacted thousands of lives; a ministry that remains paramount in how we serve our church body today. John continues to serve those in need in our community through his non-profit organization, and serves our church on our eldership team. His wisdom, revelation, and love for people continue to transform our church and our community.
Happy Birthday, John!
This week we kicked off our Core Values Series. Our Core Values are values rooted in scripture that shape how we live out our faith and interact with others. This week we unpacked the Core Value of HONOR. Scroll for a recap of what honor looks like in our daily lives.

Today we as a church had the honor of blessing 23 children who were dedicated unto the Lord. We celebrated the incredible destiny that God has for each of them and joined in prayer with our elders to bless these children and their great call! May they know God and walk with Him all the days of their lives, and may their parents be filled with wisdom and grace to raise them in “the way they should go” [Prov. 22:6]
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Matthew 19:14
One way to steward holiness is through transparency. Transparency can feel scary, but it’s always worth it because knowing Him is worth it. [Mat 7:22-23]
“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
God cares deeply about your heart. He promised to never leave you, so He placed His Spirit inside of you - your Counselor, Healer and Friend. Don’t miss out on the FREEDOM that is coming tomorrow (Sunday at 10:30 AM) as we continue our Holy Spirit series.

Last Sunday marked 15 years since Bryan and Darci Kowalczyk became lead pastors of Lake Erie Church. Their leadership, humility, and pursuit of the presence of God continue to impact Lake Erie Church, its members, and our city. Thank you for giving your lives to see God glorified, people empowered, and our city changed through Lake Erie Church.
To celebrate, share with us how Lake Erie Church has impacted your life!
God’s plan for our nation is you. Your boldness in the face of adversity pulls heaven to earth. Be bold, church!
“Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”
Acts 4:29-31 NKJV
Our prayer for you today:
“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,”
Ephesians 1:17-18
We would never ignore pain in our body because we know it is an indication of a problem below the surface. Likewise, we cannot ignore emotional pain because it reveals a wound in our soul. Jesus carried your emotional pain with Him on the cross. He felt it, and He put it to death.
Our prayer for you today from 1 Thes. 5:23-24:
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”
AMEN!

“Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.”

“And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.”
