FAQs

Questions? We’re here to help.
  • WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Lake Erie Kids is available during the Sunday service for children 6 months to 12 years old. Lake Erie Youth meet on Sunday nights from 6:30PM - 8:00PM in the LEC Youth Room.

  • WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICES LIKE?

Before:  The Cafe is open before the service, starting at 9:45AM. Here we serve coffee, tea, donuts, pastries, and bagels. First time guests eat for free!

During: We start our Sunday serivce off with praise and worship lead by our worship team. Our worship is passionate, upbeat and contemporary. After worship we transition to announcements for the week and the offering. Following announcements, Pastor Bryan (or occasionally one of our other leaders) will share a message.  These messages are rooted in scripture and often include personal examples illustrating biblical truths and how they can be applied to our lives.

After: Prayer ministry is available from our prayer team for those who desire. An announcement will be made when healing and prophectic ministry is available following the service.

  • WHAT DENOMINATION IS LEC?

We are a non-denominational church, but are associated with Bethel Church through Global Legacy.

  • DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT?

Yes!  We believe that God still works in supernatural ways, just as He did in New Testament times.  We believe that He is still speaking, healing and empowering people for the furthering of His kingdom.

  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Most people wear what we would call "Sunday Casual" clothes. You're welcome to wear what you're comfortable with!

  • I WANT TO KNOW JESUS AS MY PERSONAL SAVIOR. HOW DO I DO THIS?

We truly believe that this is the most important and life-changing decision you'll ever make. Click here to take the first step today.

CORE VALUES

Values that shape how we live out our faith and interact with others.

  • ACCOUNTABILITY

We allow those we respect in Christ to speak into our lives and hold us accountable to a Christ-like standard. We give an honest account of our thoughts and actions. We strive to see the greatness in others and call that greatness out of them. When an issue arises, our goal is to confront in love. Successful confrontation involves speaking first to the person involved, and not to others.

  • GENEROSITY

Those who call LECF their “home” church give a tithe to the Lord. The word “tithe” means “tenth” and it is a way of honoring God with the first 10% of our income. We give our time, gifts, and talents as an offering to the Lord and a contribution to the body of Christ with which we are a valuable member.

  • HONOR

Life flows from honor. We deal with God, leaders, others and ourselves with honor and respect.

Honor is given freely just as love is given freely. It is not something earned, but an attitude of the heart toward another.

  • COMMUNITY

The kingdom of God is a family affair. We value investing in strong relationship with one another. We think like healthy family members by doing what's best for the whole church community. We do not punish and abandon each other, but work to see each other restored.

  • SUPERNATURAL POWER

Every believer is a supernatural minister of the gospel of power whom signs and wonders should follow. We equip and send the church to carry on the works of Jesus, so that all may come to know Him.

  • WORSHIP

Our first ministry is to God; therefore we worship Him with extravagant thanksgiving and praise.

Our personal relationship with God is our number one priority.

  • PRESENCE OF GOD

Above all else, we value the presence of God.

We are attentive to what God is doing and what God is saying, and will move as He leads. We cultivate a corporate atmosphere and a personal lifestyle that welcomes the presence of God.

  • LOVE

We strive to keep love at the center of all we are and all we do. Our purpose starts with loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and loving our neighbor as ourselves. It is very important for us to love ourselves, receive God’s love and receive love from others.

  • PRAYER

Jesus paid the price for all sin and sickness so that all will walk in freedom and Divine health. God desires that all experience healing in spirit, soul, and body. We carry the power of Christ’s victory on the cross through the Holy Spirit and we are called to walk in freedom and bring freedom to those in need of healing.

  • STEWARDSHIP

We take personal responsibility to faithfully seek the Lord through prayer and His Word. We diligently steward our heart in order to live and love well. We impact the world around us through the gifts God has given us.
